Pacific Boutique Properties focuses on the luxury sales and rental markets on the Pacific coast of Mexico.

With a large number of professional real estate brokers now operating in the rapidly expanding Puerto Vallarta and surrounding marketplace, Pacific Boutique Properties strives to maintain a personalised service for the niche market both in sales and rentals. Pacific Boutique Properties is a young and dynamic company with a small multilingual and educated staff with international backgrounds and outlook, who are using their international education combined with their local expertise to help our increasingly savvy global clients purchase or rent Mexican residential and commercial property.

In addition to focusing on the American market, which remains our primary and most important market, Pacific Boutique Properties also caters to the needs of the recently increasing European market as buyers look further field for second homes and investment opportunities or a luxurious rental property to spend some time in the winter.

Pacific Boutique Properties is a member of AMPI (Mexican Association of Professional Realtors) and the Puerto Vallarta Multiple Listing Service MLS.

Principals

Catherine Martin de Perniaux - Owner / Broker

Born in London in 1974, Catherine graduated from King’s College London in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Languages (French and Spanish) which involved a year spent studying at the universities of Montpellier, France and Guadalajara, Mexico.

Catherine began her professional sales career in investment banking in London; first in Corporate Actions in Salomon Brothers, then in Forex at Deutsche Bank, (1996 – 2000), in Foreign Exchange Options Sales and then in eBusiness, where she was responsible for marketing and training on the use of the bank’s online FX Spot and Option trading systems to the bank’s sales and trading teams and top global clients.

Arriving in Puerto Vallarta in 2000, Catherine began work in the property market there, undergoing her training at Coldwell Banker with the top producing sales team there, and then as a founding member and sales agent of La Punta Realty in Punta de Mita. (2000 – 2007)

Catherine is a qualified translator and occasionally works as a freelance writer on Mexican news stories for London newspapers

Rosalinda Cipriani - Sales Coordinator / Partner

From French Corsica, Rosalinda Cipriani received her Baccalaureate in 1992, after which she completed a senior year at high school in the United States. Following two years at law school in Paris, specialising in Anglo-American Law, Rosalinda graduated from university in Paris (Institut Supérieur Management Education Formation) in management of educational, social educational and vocational structures specializing in foreign exchange programs. (1997-2000).

Rosalinda arrived in Ixtapa, Mexico in February 2001 to work at the Alliance Française. In December 2001 she moved to the north shores of Banderas Bay, where she spent the next five years working in hotel management and client services in both large hotel chains such as the Marriot, as well as smaller more exclusive boutique hotels such as Villa Amor followed by a position in post sales client liaison in new residential development Punta Esmeralda.

Rosalinda joined Catherine at La Punta Realty to work as her Sales Asssistant in June 2005 supporting her in all aspects of the admininstration for their sales and high end rentals.

Victoria Pratt - Sales Associate

In March of 2010 Victoria Pratt took on the opening and management of the Bucerias branch office of Pacific Boutique Properties, having joined the company in early 2008. She entered the real estate field in 2004 with top-shelf developer Grupo Real del Mar, attracted by the exclusivity of the company's developments on the north bay, observed from her perspective as a resident of neighbouring Bucerias where she has lived for the past 10 years.

She comments, "The dynamic real estate sector on the Costa Vallarta has been its most challenging over the past two years and it’s deepened my knowledge and scope to the benefit of my customers. I’ve enjoyed furthering my specialty in high quality residential real estate in this geographically and culturally attractive zone, especially with the pro-active and very adaptable team at Pacific Boutique Properties. I look forward to bringing investors the best of our area’s coastal residences and development properties of distinction in these changing times."

Pratt has an extensive background in hotel operations, sales, marketing, and public relations; as well as property management in both her native Canada and Mexico. 'Boutique’ is in her vernacular, as Pratt was a major contributor to the establishment and consolidation of Mexico Boutique Hotels as a leading hotel representation firm in Mexico, having served as public relations director and marketing consultant for five years.

Carlos De la Torre - Sales Associate

Carlos is a Mexican National born in Queretaro. A holder of both a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Pan Am, and a law degree from the University of Guadalajara, Carlos has been living in the Puerto Vallarta area since the 1980’s,

On arrival in the bay, Carlos spent a decade in the marketing industry, first in resort ownership marketing, then with Johnson & Johnson and lastly America Economía magazine -a subsidiary of the Dow Jones Group, the publishers of the Wall Street Journal.

In addition to his marketing experience Carlos was Director of Puerto Vallarta’s first university accredited Spanish language school in Puerto Vallarta,- CEPE - part of the University of Guadalajara.

Since becoming a real estate agent seven years ago, Carlos has passed all Federal Certifications available in the field and he has been an active member of the national realtors’ association in Mexico, better known as AMPI. Particularly experienced in the north shore area of the Bay of Banderas, Carlos’s last position before joining Pacific Boutique Properties was also in La Cruz where he gained valuable experience in this up and coming La Cruz – Punta Mita corridor of the Bay of Banderas.

Kim Frank, Sales Associate

Kim Frank left behind Columbia, Missouri for the charm of Bucerias on the Bay of Banderas near Puerto Vallarta in 2004.

He found a niche for his talent as a landscape lighting specialist and contractor, offering his design services and low voltage landscape lighting installations to the luxury residences that dot the coastline. HIs company – (www.distinctivegardenlightingdesign.com) - remains active on the Costa Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit and much of his work has been featured in the glossy publications that showcase such residences and hotels for which he’s markedly changed their image.

Kim’s love of the region and wish to share its treasures with newcomers, his personal buying and selling experience, blended with his mild-mannered client service skills and local property management are the mosaic that render him a desirable buyer’s agent.

Kim graduated in 1974 with a degree in marketing. His past business experience evolved from sales positions to entrepreneur and ranges from the apparel industry to food and beverage and, eventually, his lighting design venture. Entering the real estate industry with the dynamic Pacific Boutique team adds yet another page to his varied career.

Abigail Fernandez Mata, Sales Coordinator

Originally from Guadalajara, Abigail Fernandez is about to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Universidad del Valle de Atemajac of Guadalajara. She brings her zeal for marketing, her bright personality and resourcefulness to the team at Pacific Boutique Properties in her role as assistant to Victoria Pratt at the Bucerias branch office.

In love with the beach and relaxed culture of Puerto Vallarta, she’s resided on the Bay of Banderas for most of her teen years and young adult life, her family having vacationed in the area for over 25 years before finally making the move to the coast. While studying in Guadalajara, she opted for the Costa Vallarta to embark on her career. She entered real estate for the first time in Puerto Vallarta in 2006 working for a prestigious real estate firm and later a development company where she did her internship and first professional work dealing directly with legal matters as well as promotion and real estate marketing of Banderas Bay.

She spent 2009 travelling the world and returned in the spring of 2010 to join Pacific Boutique Properties and assist with the opening and management of the Bucerias branch office.

Richard Bolduc - Sales Associate

Hailing from Vail, Colorado, Richard now spends most of the year in Punta de Mita. Having worked in real estate since 1983, and settign up his own successful real estate sales, and property managment company, Richard is now putting his experience to work in Costa Vallarta's markets.

Title insurance and escrow service have for some time been readily available in Mexico, from companies such as Stewart Title in Houston TX, First American in Florida, and Fidelity out of New York. There are numerous English speaking lawyers competent in Mexican Real Estate Law for foreigners, as well as tax lawyers, architects, engineers, interior designers and landscape architects, all at the service of the international client.
